Around 11:00am announcement was made by Her Majesty Queen and His Royal Highness Duke of Edinburgh at Buckingham Palace. With great joy we announce the engagement of our son His Royal Highness Prince of Wales to Lady Diana Francis Spencer daughter of Earl John Spencer and Mrs Francis Shand-Kydd. A summer wedding will be planned!
